Commission a saree the world has never seen
A made-to-order Banarasi is not a purchase — it is a quiet conversation between the wearer, the weaver and the loom. It begins with a colour you remember from your grandmother's almirah, and ends, sixteen to twenty-four weeks later, with a length of silk no other woman in the world will ever own.
We work only with the families of Madanpura and Pili Kothi, on antique pit looms, with real silver and gold zari — never coated polyester. Your motif is graphed by hand on squared paper before a single thread is dyed.
This is the slowest, most considered way to commission a saree in India. We are listening.
Begin in five quiet steps
We will take notes as you go. A concierge from the atelier will reply within two business days — by email, or, if you prefer, by WhatsApp.

Where your commission begins
From the Mughal courts to your wardrobe, the Banarasi saree is a living textile. We work directly with the families whose looms have been singing since Akbar's time — no middlemen, no compromise.
Every saree leaves Varanasi with a hand-signed certificate naming the weaver, the technique and the months it took to make.
