A saree should take a minute, not an afternoon
The six-yard drape is one of the great inventions of the subcontinent — and one of its most intimidating. We spent two years in our Varanasi atelier engineering each of these drapes into a single zip, a single hook, a single minute.
Every saree in the Library is woven on a traditional pit loom, then drape-engineered by a master who has dressed brides for thirty years. The cloth stays Banarasi. The wearing becomes yours.
