Where Danyah Banaras has been written about
The atelier and its master weavers in Madanpura have been featured by craft journalists, business reporters, and sustainable fashion publications across India and internationally. Below is the record — every piece links to the original publication.
Danyah Banaras is a directly-commissioned Banarasi saree atelier in Madanpura, the oldest weaver mohalla of Varanasi. Our work has interested editors writing about Indian heritage textile, sustainable fashion, fair-pay supply chains, and the modern Indian bride. The publications listed below have either published, accepted, or are reviewing pieces about the atelier, our weavers, the kadhwa loom decline, the markup economics of the Indian luxury saree industry, or the pre-draped saree movement.
For editors and journalists working on stories about Banarasi sarees, Madanpura weavers, the direct-atelier supply chain, sustainable Indian fashion, or the pre-drape revolution: please write to press@danyahbanaras.com or hello@danyahbanaras.com. We respond to working journalists within 24 hours and are happy to provide high-resolution loom-floor photography, weaver interviews (with signed consent), atelier studio visits in Mumbai, and pilgrimage trips to Madanpura for serious reporting.
