The Hands Behind

Meet the Weaver

Every Banarasi saree in our collection is woven by master artisans in the historic gullies of Varanasi. Their craft is passed down through generations — a quiet rebellion against the speed of modern fashion.

Drape film coming soon

The 60-second drape for this saree is being filmed in our Varanasi atelier.

PRE-DRAPED · READY IN 60 SECONDS

Watch your saree drape itself

Every drape you see on a Banarasi runway takes a stylist twenty minutes and seven safety pins. We have done that work for you — at the loom, in the atelier, with a master draper who has dressed brides for thirty years.

Your saree arrives already pleated, already pinned, already sized to your measurements. The pallu falls the way it was meant to. The pleats stay crisp from morning ceremony to midnight cocktail. The fall-and-pico is hand-stitched in matching silk thread so it never shows.

The film on the left was shot in our Varanasi studio — no cuts, no edits. From garment bag to mirror in under sixty seconds.

  • Pleats — hand-folded in fives, pinned at the waist
  • Pallu fall — tacked to the blouse shoulder, never slips
  • Blouse anchor — concealed hook-and-eye, no safety pins
  • Fall and pico — hand-stitched in matching silk thread
  • Stitched length — custom to your height — petticoat included
  • Side zip — invisible YKK zipper for a tailored silhouette
  • Adjustable waist — two-inch grace on hidden hooks for the full day

About Banarasi Sarees

A Banarasi saree is more than woven cloth — it is a living relic of Mughal-era artistry, hand-woven on traditional pit looms in the narrow lanes of Varanasi. Authenticated by the Geographical Indication (GI) tag, each piece carries the signature of its weaver and the heritage of a craft that has clothed Indian brides for over four centuries.

Our pre-draped Banarasi sarees combine the soul of this ancient craft with the ease of modern dressing — letting you wear heritage in under sixty seconds, without sacrificing the integrity of the original six-yard drape.
